Portrait of Lyric, BBC Desires storyteller

About Lyric

She’s a wife. She lives in a quiet house on a quiet street, keeps a garden, hosts dinner parties, and never misses a school fundraiser. If you passed her at the farmers market, you’d remember the smile and nothing else.

That’s exactly how she likes it.

Lyric discovered her desire the way so many women do: quietly, then all at once. It started with a glance across a hotel bar years ago, held a beat too long by a man who knew exactly what he was doing. She went home to her husband that night with a secret and a hunger that never left. What started as a fantasy became a part of who she is, and she’s never looked back.

Now she writes. Some of the stories belong to women who found her and whispered their confessions. Some belong to husbands who finally admitted what they wanted to watch. And some, she won’t say which, are hers.

She doesn’t do interviews. She doesn’t post her face. Her husband knows. Her neighbors never will.

You’ll get to know her the only way she allows: one story at a time.
